Saul Silber Properties is seeking a reliable, hardworking Maintenance Technician to help maintain our portfolio of apartments, homes, office spaces, and warehouses throughout Gainesville and Alachua County. Our company manages Saul Silber–owned residential and commercial properties serving local residents, students, families, and businesses across the community.

What You’ll Do

• Perform general maintenance and repair work on residential and commercial properties
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, appliance, and HVAC-related issues
• Complete work orders efficiently and professionally
• Assist with apartment turns, punch-out work, and preventative maintenance
• Handle carpentry, painting, fixture replacement, drywall repair, and general upkeep
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Communicate professionally with tenants, supervisors, and vendors
• Respond to urgent maintenance calls and occasional after-hours emergencies as needed

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance, construction, handyman, apartment maintenance, or related experience preferred
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general maintenance
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work indoors/outdoors in Florida weather
• HVAC certification, EPA certification, or trade experience is a plus — but not required
